Sign up for ARCY, open your workspace, pick a plan, and create your first product. Read the work email rule before you type an address.

Signing up takes you from nothing to a signed-in dashboard with your first product ready to install. It runs in one sitting and takes a few minutes.

If a colleague already uses ARCY, do not sign up here. Ask them to invite you from Settings > Team, and you join the workspace your team already has. An invited member can use any email address. See Team.

What you need first

A work email address on your company's own domain. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and throwaway addresses do not open a workspace. The work email rule below explains what happens if you use one anyway.
A card, when you are ready to serve real users. The 14-day trial starts at checkout, and nothing is charged until it ends. See Billing & Plans.

Signing up

Go to app.arcyai.com/sign-up. There are two ways in:

Work email address and a password. The field is labelled Work email address, because that is the only kind that opens a workspace.
Continue with Google. Same rule: the Google account has to be on your company domain.

Pick one and remember which. It decides how you sign in later, and whether you have a password at all.

Verify your email

If you signed up with an address and a password, ARCY emails you a code. Type it into the form to prove the address is yours. Signing up with Google skips this step, because Google has already verified the address.

Name your workspace

The workspace is your company inside ARCY. It holds your products, your environments, your teammates and your billing, and everything you do later happens inside one.

Name it after your company. You can rename it any time from Settings > Account.

Pick a plan

Plans differ on how much of ARCY you can use, not on which parts. Every plan opens with a 14-day trial at full entitlements, and the trial starts at checkout with a card on file. Nothing is charged until the 14 days are up, and nothing is charged automatically if you let the trial expire.

A workspace that has never been through checkout can still sign in and look around, but the widget does not answer your users until it subscribes. Read Billing & Plans for what each plan includes.

Name your first product

One field, and you can rename it later. A product is one piece of software you install ARCY in, and each one comes with two environments:

Production, for your live site, which answers only after you verify your domain.
Development, for building and testing, which accepts any address so you can start straight away.

The secret key for each environment is shown on this screen and nowhere else. ARCY keeps only an encrypted copy, so nobody can show you one again. Save both before you continue, or download them as an environment file from the same screen. See API key security.

Install and verify

Sign-up drops you on the Installation page for the product you just made, with your snippets already carrying the right token. Follow the Quickstart from there, then press Verify installation to confirm traffic is arriving.

The work email rule

ARCY opens a workspace only for an address on your company's own domain. The check happens after the workspace is made, not on the sign-up form, so a personal address does not fail loudly at the moment you type it. It fails a second later instead.

If it fires, your workspace is removed and the next screen you see says so: your sign-in still works, there is simply nothing behind it. Two ways forward from there:

Sign out and start again with your work address. The button is on the screen.
Ask a colleague to invite you. An invited member is exempt from the rule and can use any address, which is the answer when no work address is available to you.

If your domain is legitimate and you were blocked anyway, use the support link on that screen and we will sort it out.

The rule keeps applying afterwards, but only to the person who created the workspace. Their primary email address has to stay on a company domain. Invited members are never subject to it. See Account for how that plays out when you change your email.
