General
Set the Product's name, slug and icon, pause ARCY in this Product, delete its Demo early, or delete the Product.
Configure > General holds what this Product is called, how it looks across the dashboard, and the two ways to stop it.
Before you start
Only an admin can change the profile, deactivate the Product, delete its Demo or delete it. A member sees the saved values.
Setting it up
Product profile. The Name is required. The Slug is the Product's part of every
dashboard address (/your-slug/production/...) and follows the name until you type in it.
Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only, and never the name of a dashboard page such as
home or settings. If the slug changes on save, you move to the new address. Name and slug
wait for Save changes in the bar at the foot; Discard reverts them.
The Product icon is a PNG, JPEG, WEBP or SVG up to 5MB and saves the moment the upload finishes. A Product whose icon ARCY took from your site shows From your site beside it until you choose Keep or upload another.
What it changes
- Deactivate Now stops ARCY from responding in this Product immediately, with arcy.js still in your code. Nothing is deleted, and Activate Product turns it back on.
- Delete the Demo shows while the Product has a Demo. After one confirmation it deletes the Demo's sample visitors, Insights, Specialists and Flows; nothing on Development or Production changes. Without it, the Demo goes at the Product's first Production session.
- What ARCY stores and the policy links the widget shows are on Legal. Who sees the chat bar, and the sign in pages a capped visitor is offered, are on Customization.
Delete product is permanent. It destroys the Product and all of its data, and any site still loading its keys stops working at once. You confirm by typing the Product's name.
